I am a Houston native who came to know the Lord at a summer youth camp in 6th grade. I am also a proud graduate of the University of Texas at Austin where I received my B.S. in Petroleum Engineering in 2009. It was in the show choir at UT that I met my beautiful and loving wife Sarah, and our family now includes our three boys. Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary is where I got my MDiv in 2012 to deepen my understanding and love for God as I began to seek out my calling in vocational ministry as a children's minister at my hometown church. My three passions are family, teaching, and music, and I enjoy spending my free time tutoring math, life coaching, caring for marriages and watching sports. Any time I get to travel with my family or go on some adventure with them is also a win. Helping visitors and our church family find relationship and purpose through the Assimilations and Young Adults ministry in this season is a such a gift to me. I feel so blessed to be given the opportunity to serve alongside an incredible team to minister to and equip the saints the Lord has brought to Stonegate for ministry.
MY HOPE FOR STONEGATE
I hope the Lord allows Stonegate to be a foreshadowing of what is pictured in heaven where all nations, tongues, tribes and peoples are congregating together in unity to worship the name of Jesus.
