I grew up in a loving household as the only child of two parents. While my parents were believers, it was not until the fifth grade that I truly came to know Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. From then on, my parents and I got plugged into our local church and were able to pursue the Lord together as a family. I was very involved in our church's youth group growing up, and it is through my time there and the example of my youth minister, that the Lord placed a desire for student ministry on my heart. I have a heart for students and want to serve and love them well, by sharing the joy of Christ with them! From the start of my education, I have attended private Christian schools, and am currently a full time student at Dallas Baptist University pursuing a Master's Degree in Discipleship. I am grateful for a life of Christ centered education and the value it has had on my relationship with the Lord. After school I hope to serve the local church and pursue the Lord in all I do. When I am not at work or in class, you can typically find me drinking coffee, watching movies, reading books, or hanging around in my hammock.
MY HOPE FOR STONEGATE
My hope for Stonegate is that it would be a place where you feel welcome and encouraged in your pursuit of Christ. In this, I pray that we hold fast to the truth of the Gospel and the saving work of Jesus.
