Brad and his family moved to Arlington, Texas in 2008. Since then, Brad has spent time in college and youth ministry with local churches in the Arlington area. Before the Marvines moved from their hometown in the Kansas City area, God has been stirring their hearts with a love for the city of Arlington and with a desire to plant a church there. In June of 2016, they began meeting with a core group of people who shared similar desires to see the broken made beautiful through Jesus. They are excited to see this core gathering of people transform into Restore Church in the fall of 2016!
Brad graduated from MidAmerica Nazarene University with his BA in Management and Human Relations. He is currently finishing up his Masters of Arts in Religion at Redeemer Presbyterian Seminary in Dallas. Since 2014, Brad has had the privilege of going through church planting residency with two local churches: Stonegate Church (in Midlothian) and The City Church (in Fort Worth). Both have sent Brad out to plant Restore Church.
Brad and his wife, Charise, have 5 kids - Jonah, Silas, Noah, Eloise (Ellie), and Finley (Finn). Brad considers himself incredibly blessed to be married to his best friend and is still surprised she said yes. His kids are wild gifts that are constant reminders to him of a playful God and a simple faith.
- Pray people in Arlington would come to know the love of Jesus.
- Pray for continued opportunities and doorways to engage with the many broken areas in our city in the name of Jesus.
- Pray as the early stages of a church plant takes time to develop leaders, and that God would bring the right people with a shared vision to help lead His church.
- Pray for growth through discipleship. We are asking God to stir up affection for Him in the hearts of our people that would lead to maturity in Christ.
